We’ve got quite a few friends and family who have their own websites - here are a few of them.

Emma

Our friend Emma Davies is a writer. She’s got her finger in quite a few online pies - on her various sites you can buy a fairy, discover some great recipes and cooking tips at Fern Cottage, and even find out the name of your own personal fairy or vampire name. She also tends a sporadically updated blog. Oh, and Pete is currently joining her on a porker diet .

Jenny

Catwoman of Battersea Jenny is the guardian angel of all geriatric cats in the UK (and elsewhere!) She’s looked after loads of older cats, so if you want to find out how to look after your geriatric cat just go to her website at www.gericatrix.com.

The Tree of Life For Animals

Our friend Rachel Wright has done the most amazing thing and set up her own animal charity in India. This incredible feat has been achieved because Rachel is a strong, highly motivated and extremely dedicated person and has a real passion for animals.

The idea began during one of her many trips around the world. She happened to be in Sri Lanka about 4 years ago and helped a dog with a limp - all she did was remove a thorn from its paw and it was cured after weeks of discomfort. She realised that with her skills as a qualified Veterinary Nurse, she could actually relieve the suffering of many animals who had no-one to care for them.

And so there the dream was planted, and it grew, until in July 2005 she moved out to Rajasthan in India - a country she has loved from her very first visit - and started to realise that dream. It’s not all 9-5 and cute puppies, it is extremely hard work but incredibly rewarding and probably the most important thing is that she IS making a difference.

We are so proud of Rachels achievements but the ‘Tree of Life for Animals’ is in need of vital funding to continue its good work. Please visit the TOLFA website regularly to find out what we are doing to help and how you can help us.
