TOLFA May Ball
After much hurried planning and organisation we finally had the first Charity Ball for The Tree of Life for Animals.
Everyone had a great time and things went pretty smoothly. We raised £400 by doing an auction, a raffle and a tombola as well as selling some indian wares.
I reckon we’ll need at least another year to recover before the next one!

Salzburg Weekend 1
I have just returned from a fabulous weekend in Salzburg, Austria. I went with my friend Heather to celebrate her (30th) birthday (i’m sure she won’t mind me saying!)
Here is a pic of us on top of Untersberg enjoying a well earned beer!

Jack in the Green
Hastings has a mad May Day tradition, a little like Padstows ‘Obby ‘Oss and Helstons ‘Furry/Floral Dance’.
Basically lost of people dress up as green trees, black crows or colourful things and proceed through the castle ruins of Hastings in order to place the ‘Jack’ in the green. Jack, who represents spring, is then killed by the ‘bogey’ to welcome in spring!

Alfie at Easter
I went to visit my gorgeous nephew again at Easter whilst on our way up to family birthday party. He had lots of cuddles from all us girlies; Aunty Kim, Grandma Clarke and Great-Grandma Griffiths.

Martyna Music 1
Martyna is a friend of a friend and last friday we went to The Cella Bar in Hove to watch her perform. The venue was small but very cosy and with the added benefit of a bar just yards away.
We had a lovely veggie meal at the upstairs ‘Sanctuary Cafe’ before the gig started.
Glastonbury 2007
Wahey!! Got tickets to Glastonbury 2007!! After 2 & 1/2 hrs of constant refresh and redial and an extra £42 for a return coach trip that we don’t need, we managed to get all our tickets for the Glasto Festival.
So Iain, Moya, Belle and Trent - we’ll see you there!
Alfie Burp
I love this video clip of Alfie being burped!

Ruth visits Hastings
Ruth came to visit this weekend and we had a lovely day trip to Bodmin Castle.
Once we arrived Ruth realised she had actually already been here before but it is still a real fairytale castle so see.
Here is Ruth and I outside the entrance. Ruth looks as classy as ever and I just look geeky! I have no idea what we are laughing at!
