The car and caravan combo

Yes, at last we have finally set off on our travels - hurrah! We left Clay Cross in Chesterfield this morning and headed down to Peterborough to visit Rachels family and Jenny.

With the aid of Pete’s new toy - a GPS - we had a pleasant diversion through Nottingham city centre whilst towing the caravan, during a busy friday afternoon. Pete wasn’t best pleased but he did a grand job of getting us through it.

Our campsite didn’t have the greatest sign in the world so after 3 attempts we finally managed to pull into the correct driveway and pitch up for the evening.

After a yummy tea of sausages and waffles followed by apple pie and custard (thanks to Nanny for that) we all sat round and looked at photos of our recent trip to India. Everyone was pleased to see the Tree Of Life building works in steady progress as well as commenting on how well - and happy - Rachel looked.
